Hello, guys!

Yesterday, I worked on the first step of the snowflake method: the one-sentence summary.

The recommendations are:

  • No name (use descriptions instead)

  • Personal stakes and big picture

  • Keep it short

Here is the final version:

A career woman on the verge of a failing marriage discovers her internet friend is a world-famous singer.

  • Career woman: This hints at the reason why her marriage is crumbling down to pieces

  • Failing marriage: Personal stakes

  • Internet friend: Her friend (and future love interest *wink wink*) was met through the internet. I believe we all know how easy it is to chat and bond with strangers online.

  • World-famous singer: Here comes the big picture! What comes to your mind reading this? Crazy fans, tours, millions of albums sold? Anyway, this sells dreams (a French idiom meaning it makes everything dazzling).

In the next post, I'll expand this one-sentence summary into a one-paragraph summary.
